The scope of Trump's anti-immigrant campaign is getting out of control.

After weeks attacking the Democrats for the entry of undocumented immigrants, fueling the collective hysteria with a supposed "invasion" from the southern border and promoting hatred and division in the country, the words of the president now have another consequence.

According to Newsweek, the Joint Force Land Component Commander Threat Working Group presented to the Pentagon new circumstances surrounding the so-called Operation Faithful Patriot, organized between the Department of Defense and the Department of Homeland Security on the border by presidential orders.

The documents "take a detailed look at the four-point of entry locations spread across the southwest border" by evaluating the possible entrances of the caravan, if it finally reaches the borderline.

In the middle of the risk assessments, there is the presence of "members of unregulated militias along the southern border."

"Estimated 200 unregulated armed militia members currently operating along the southwest border," the documents explain. "Reported incidents of unregulated militias stealing National Guard equipment during deployments. They operate under the guise of citizen patrols that supporting Customs and Border Protection primarily between points of entry.”

According to Newsweek, these are right-wing activists who had previously announced their plans to move on their own to the Mexican border to "prevent caravan members from entering the country."

The militants are part of the Minuteman Project organization, an activist movement "for the protection of the southern border," and whose National Political Director, Howie Morgan, told the media that "they expect their members to be at full force on the border before the caravan arrives.”

The organization has published a "call to action" through its official website, calling on its members to present themselves "along the border" from San Diego to Brownsville "at any time during the next 90 days."

While the statement warns participants to "stay within the rule of law," Morgan told Newsweek that the militias' work will be to "report immigrants to the Border Patrol," and that he "expected members to be armed."
