Juntos and the Philadelphia Federation of Teachers (PFT) will be hosting a free DACA clinic for the undocumented community on Sunday Oct 4. Immigration attorneys will be available to review applications and answer questions.

The Deferred Action Program for Childhood Arrivals or DACA is a federal program for undocumented youth who arrived to the U.S. before turning sixteen. The program allows them to obtain a work permit and protects them from deportation.

Almost 800,000 undocumented youth in the United States applied for the program, which turned three years old last June.

The free clinic will take place at the Juntos Office (1537 S. 6th Street) from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.

For more information visit Juntos.
