Does Latino vote for Kamala?
The Latino electorate maintains a preference for Democrats. But...
Good news and bad news for the Democratic campaign led by current Vice President Kamala Harris. What's it all about?
Harris retains a significant lead among Latino voters over her opponent, former President and Republican candidate Donal Trump.
Nevertheless, this is the lowest lead in the last four presidential processes.
This is shown by the most recent survey conducted by NBC News, Telemundo and CNBC and revealed this Sunday.
According to the opinion poll, 54% of Latinos surveyed are Democratic voters, while 40% say they are Republicans. The other 6% either have another political preference or are still undecided.
For Latinos, the two sensitive issues in the current political campaign are the state of the economy and high prices.
When asked about congressional preferences, the picture is similar: 54% support the Democrats, and 42% support the Republicans, a much smaller gap than the previous year.
The survey polled a total of 1,000 Latinos in Spanish and English.
The country entered the final stretch of the democratic electoral contest.
Right now the parties are tasked with convincing the citizens of the "swing" states, which is where the history of the elections can be defined.
These are Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Georgia, Arizona, Wisconsin, Michigan and Nevada.

So far this has been an extraordinary campaign and what can be said is that none of these standard events have managed to change the balance radically for either side.
Former President Donald Trump has already been the victim of two assassination attempts during this period and this has raised many questions about the tensions among the electorate and the high level of polarization in the country.
On the other hand, Democrats lost a lot of ground because of President Joe Biden's poor performance during the first face-to-face debate with Donald Trump. This led the President to withdraw his aspiration, which opened space for Kamala Harris.
In these months of campaigning with the current vice-president as a candidate, the ground was leveled and now the preferences do not show major differences between democrats and republicans.
As it is, swing states and specific groups such as Latinos can make a difference in the outcome.
In addition, it was revealed that officially The New York Times, one of the most influential newspapers not only in the United States but in the world, supports Harris in his aspiration.
November 5 is getting closer and closer and very soon Americans will know who will take the reins of the country starting next January.
