Mexico's former president, Vicente Fox, will participate in the Latin America's Role in 2017 and Beyond in the framework of the Global Stability and Insecurity discussions, organized by the World Affairs Council of Philadelphia, an independent organization, dedicated to the study of subjects of national and international importance.

He has lately been very active in the media for his strong statements about the construction of a wall on the Mexican-American border. Fox's presence in Philadelphia promises controversy, mainly because it will provide a conference on the present and future of binational relations between Mexico and the United States in Trump's time.

The former president will also participate in a panel of experts on security and politics, in which he will discuss the challenges and opportunities that countries such as Colombia, Venezuela, Argentina and Brazil face given the current situations of public order, corruption, economic crises and processes of peace taking place in their territories.

The discussion will take place on April 4th at the Villanova University Connelly Center (800 E. Lancaster Avenue, 19085) at 4:00 p.m. Expect special coverage of AL DÍA News.

At the beginning of March, the Mexican ex-president of Mexico between 2000 and 2006 appeared in the special program that comedian Conan O'Brien produced from Mexico City, where he repeated his harsh (and caricatured) criticism of President Trump.
