With the mighty Sphinx overlooking the audience, Prospanica Philadelphia held their 2019 End of Year celebration at the Penn Museum located in the heart of the University of Pennsylvania campus. As part of the festivities, several sponsors are awarded for their hard work and support of the organization. Prospanica has advocated for Hispanic business professionals for more than 30 years. They have given over $8 million in scholarships for graduate education. Many of those recipients have led professional chapters and university chapters across the U.S. and Puerto Rico, advancing diversity causes in their own communities.
Accepting awards were Raquel M. Arredondo for Drexel University, Manuel Santiago III for NY Life Giving, Pedro Viera for PNC Bank, Raul DeLa Rosa for NBC Comcast, Janelle Coluccio for Lincoln Financial Group, Natily Santos for Aramark and Melany Bustillos for Cigna. The evening also included an undergraduate student and two masters program students awarded with scholarships, a tour of the museums new Mexican and Central American exhibits, as well as a performance by the Estilo Dance Group.
