At a time where much of the world is under the thumb of a global pandemic, doctors never give a second thought on placing their patients' health above their own. It's not about the Hippocratic Oath; it about having utmost respect for human life.

At The College of Physicians of Philadelphia, AL DÍA News celebrated their fourth annual "Top Doctors" awards by recognizing thirteen individuals within the medical profession; honoring them for their strength, heroism and humility. They are the most accomplished medical professionals in the region who make an impact and seek more diversity within their professions.

In attendance were Dr. Daniel Schidlow, Director of the Bioethics and Professional Formation course at Drexel University College of Medicine at Tower Health; Kevin B. Mahoney, Chief Executive Officer at University of Pennsylvania Health System; and Dr. Mira Bjelotomich Irons, President & Chief Executive Officer of The College of Physicians of Philadelphia. Congratulations to all of the awardees.
