Venezuelan model Bárbara Castellanos presented her brand, 'Pasarellas' at New York Fashion Week alongside renowned Dominican fashion designer Giannina Azar, an experience that defines the evolution of her career as a top model and beauty entrepreneur.
"'Pasarellas' represents the consolidation of her ascending career, in which she has had the privilege of representing the world's most prominent haute couture designers, such as photo campaigns with Dior, Pretty Little Things, Fashion Nova and Giannina Azar," she said in an official launch statement.
The passion for fashion has been with Castellanos since her childhood, and with her brand, 'Pasarellas,' she manages to combine her experience on the world's most impressive catwalks with fashion design, bringing her taste and style to the label of designer Giannina Azar.
"I decided to create 'Pasarellas' to express my passion for haute couture, what fashion represents to my life and to leave my enriching experiences on the catwalks captured in this collection," said Castellanos.
Elegance, haute couture and exclusive designs are characteristics that will be present in the first collection of the Venezuelan brand. Castellanos' purpose is "to inspire women to project their inner beauty with the security of wearing a luxury design that enhances their shine and self-esteem."
The model said that this and her future collaborations "seek to create a better feeling about women and generate self-confidence."
Castellanos, who in addition to being a model has a degree in Business Administration and Accounting, will have the global launch of her brand on Feb. 23 through her website.
