Mexican Marvel Superheroes
Mabel Cadena and Tenoch Huerta, both Mexicans, have been cast in 'Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,' the latest film coming from Marvel Cinematic Universe.

“Queen Ramonda (Angela Bassett), Shuri (Letitia Wright), M'Baku (Winston Duke), Okoye (Danai Gurira) and Dora Milaje (Florence Kasumba), fight to protect their nation from the world powers that intervene after the war and the death of King T'Challa. As the people of Wakanda struggle to embrace their next chapter, the heroes must band together with the help of War Dog Nakia (Lupita Nyong'o) and Everett Ross (Martin Freeman) and forge a new path for the kingdom of Wakanda," reads the synopsis of the new movie Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
In addition to Angela Bassett, Letitia Wright, Winston Duke, Danai Gurira, Florence Kasumba, Lupita Nyong'o, Martin Freeman, Dominique Thorne, Michaela Coel, Mabel Cadena, Alex Livanalli, the cast also includes Mexicans Mabel Cadena and Tenoch Huerta.
Cadena will play Namora, a hybrid mutant who first appeared in the comics in 1947. Huerta will play the role of Namor, Namora's cousin and considered an emblematic character within the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Created in 1939, Namor is the king of a hidden underwater nation and the son of an Atlantean princess and a human.
During this past weekend's San Diego Comic Con, Marvel announced the names of the actors and actresses starring in the movie, and also released the first teaser of the film.
"I am very happy to be here. It is an honor. I want to say something very quickly about inclusion: Thanks to inclusion I am here. I would not be here without inclusion. And many children are there looking at us with a smile because we are here," said Tenoch Huerta during a speech at Comic Con.
The movie Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will premiere in U.S. theaters on Nov. 11, 2022.

Mitzi Mabel Cadena is a well-known film, theater and television actress. She acted in the movie El baile de los 41 (2020), “La Diosa del asphalt” and the television series “Hérnan” (2019).
Who is Tenoch Huerta?
The Mexican actor and producer began his career on television and film as a cameraman until he made the leap to acting. At 41 years old, he has worked on productions in his country, in the United States and also Spain.
Huerta has long been known in the entertainment industry for his stance against racism, in favor of diversity and the inclusion of people of color in series and film roles.
