'Los Montaner'' seeks to show the most intimate scenes of the Montaner family', headed by one of the most important artists in the history of Latin music: the Argentine-Venezuelan singer-songwriter Ricardo Montaner.
Surrounded by his wife Marlene, his sons, sons-in-law and daughters-in-law Mau, Ricky, Evaluna, Stefi, Sara and Camilo, the docuseries invites us to learn more about the lives of the different members of the family and will show Ricardo and Marlene's feelings when they see how 'their family nest' empties. "We are all super united but we are extremely different," says one of the Montaners in a preview of the series released by Disney +.
In its non-linear story, 'Los Montaner' will reveal the behind-the-scenes of the careers of all members of the family and for this it will highlight some iconic moments such as the 2021 Latin Grammy Awards in Las Vegas, family trips to countries such as Colombia, the Dominican Republic and Argentina, birthdays and other special celebrations.
The tv production aims to approach the public to different moments of life, not only professional but also more intimate, of this family: while the eldest son Ricky is ready to marry the actress and model Stefi Roitman, Evaluna, the youngest, waits her first child with the well-known Colombian singer Camilo.
Mau, the couple's middle child, announces that he is expecting a baby with his wife, Sara Escobar; a news that comes after both overcome a crisis by trying to balance their work and personal lives.
To get closer to the audience, the new show includes archive photos and videos, interviews and private family recordings captured with mobile phones, which gives the show a greater spontaneity.
The docuseries has been created by the Montaner family and the influential Colombian music entrepreneur Lex Borrero, and is produced by Ntertain Studios with the creative collaboration of the Disney Branded Television Unscripted Team.
Lex Borrero, Tommy Mottola, and Ivanni Rodríguez are the executive producers along with Ricardo, Marlene, Mau, and Ricky Montaner. They are joined by Santiago Zapata and Chris Smith, who are showrunners and directors of the series for Ntertain Studios.
The first five chapters of the first part of 'Los Montaner' will be available on Disney + on November 9. Each episode will be between 40 to 45 minutes long.
The streaming platform has not yet revealed when the second part of the docuseries will be released.
