The NBC series Lopez vs. Lopez is a favorite among the Hispanic community in the U.S., which is why the show is now making an effort to include other well-known Latino stars on episodes. 

Recently, the show added legendary actors Rita Moreno and Cheech Marin as special guests. 

The new episode focuses on the Lopez household that has been disturbed by an evil spirit, forcing the family to contact a curandero. The curandero, played by Marin, reveals that the ghost living among them is the ghost of George's grandmother Dolores, played by Moreno, reads the episode's synopsis.

"I loved that she came back from the dead," said Rita Moreno, who was excited to play the character, as reported by BELatina. "He came roaring back, nasty as ever, in that family and demanding respect." 

Ana Navarró-Cárdenas posted a photo of the cast before the official premiere of the episode, as it was a very important moment for the team. 

"Whew! There is so much history and artistic excellence — Latin greatness — in this photo, I had to share it. Everyone, Cheech Marin and Rita Moreno — yes, the EGOT!!! — are on tonight's episode with my amazing friends, George Lopez and Mayan Lopez," Ana wrote.

Fans of the series have remained enthusiastic and loyal with every new episode. 

Lopez vs. Lopez airs every Friday at 8 p.m. on NBC and Saturdays on Peacock TV.
