With the return of the public to the movie theaters, world premieres are increasingly building hype trains for fans and successful for producers. 
 
That's why this year-end you can't miss the premieres of these five movies that will surely break box office records and where great Latino or Latino-descended actors are playing major roles, putting the Hispanic community in high places.
Spiderman No way home 
The new movie in the Spiderman multiverse, starring Tom Holland, will be released on Dec. 16 in different countries. However, pre-sale tickets are already sold out in Brazil, Chile, Argentina and Mexico.
 
The film is directed by Jon Watts, written by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers, and stars Tom Holland as Peter Parker and Spider-Man, along with Zendaya, Benedict Cumberbatch, Jon Favreau, Jacob Batalon, Marisa Tomei, J. B. Smoove, Benedict Wong, Jamie Foxx, Alfred Molina, Willem Dafoe, Thomas Haden Church, and Rhys Ifans. 
 
In the film, Parker asks Dr. Strange to help him make his identity as Spider-Man a secret after his public revelation, which leads to the breakdown of the multiverse, and allows five supervillains from alternate realities to enter his universe.
House of Gucci 
Throughout the plot of this film, it seeks to explain the complex relationships of the Gucci family. The fashion brand, founded in 1940 by patriarch Guccio Gucci, which ended up in the hands of one of his sons, Aldo Gucci.
 
The director, Ridley Scott, borrowed from journalist Sara Gay Forden's in-depth investigation in the book, House of Gucci, as the basis for his screenplay, and uses some of Hollywood's biggest faces to play the main characters.
 
The film stars Adam Driver, Lady Gaga, Al Pacino, Jared Leto, Jeremy Irons and Salma Hayek. The screenplay was written by Roberto Bentivegna and Becky Johnson. 
West Side Story
The remake of the iconic musical film is directed by Steven Spielberg and it was Spielberg himself who made it clear that the production would feature Latino actors.
 
"No whitewashing!" said the director, recalling the two gangs in West Side Story: the Puerto Rican 'Sharks' and the 'Jets', predominantly white. In the first film, both gangs consisted of white actors wearing makeup.
 
In this new version, Ansel Elgort will take over the role Richard Beymer played in 1961, and Colombian Rachel Zegler will play Maria, the protagonist, and Puerto Rican Ariana DeBose will play Anita.
The Matrix Resurrections 
This new version of the Matrix film series is not a sequel, but an independent story, according to David Mitchell, co-writer of the film. Mitchell went on to tell To Vime that he saw the final cut of what was a "very good" film that will be "revolutionary." 
 
So far, it is a mystery how the story will develop, but Keanu Reeves assured that Matrix 4 was actually a love story. 
 
"We have a wonderful writer and director, Lana Wachowski, and she has written a beautiful script that is a love story, it's inspiring, the other version of a kind of wake-up call, and it entertains, with great action," he said.
Being the Ricardos
Being the Ricardos is an American biographical film written and directed by Aaron Sorkin about the relationship between I Love Lucy stars Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz. 
 
Nicole Kidman and Javier Bardem play Ball and Arnaz, while the other characters are played by J. K. Simmons, Nina Arianda, Tony Hale, Alia Shawkat, Jake Lacy and Clark Gregg.
 
The series I Love Lucy, which inspired the film, premiered in 1951 and ran for six years on the CBS television network. Its protagonists, the American Lucille Ball and the Cuban Desi Arnaz, became the most famous comic couple of the moment. There were 180 episodes in which the audience was able to get to know the Ricardo couple in depth, which now comes to the big screen with a behind-the-scenes look at the couple.
