‘Betty La Fea' actress will star in Prime Video series
Ana María Orozco returns to the screens with 'Cochina envidia'.
The Colombian production is based on the play "Veneno" by Carolina Cuervo, who also stars in the series.
"VERY HAPPY to share with you what I could say is the project of my life! #CochinaEnvidia , a series based on my play Veneno, has black humor, an incredible team and talks about what nobody wants to talk about: envy. It premieres Oct. 7 on @PrimeVideoLat," Cuervo tweeted.

Ana María Orozco, who had her acting debut in the hit Colombian novela "Betty la fea" and will star in the series, announced the trailer's release through her Twitter account, mentioning that it will be available on the streaming platform on October 7th.
The dramatic comedy was filmed in the city of Bogota, Colombia and "consists of 6 episodes of 30 minutes each, is directed by Mateo Stivelberg, produced by TeleColombia and Carolina Cuervo, who in addition to being part of the cast is the showrunner. Cochina envy becomes part of the growing content of Amazon Prime Video and will be released in more than 240 countries and territories globally," announced the streaming platform in a press release a few months ago.
In "Cochina Envidia" viewers will learn the story of four old friends who one night decide to get together to celebrate the literature award won by María, the character played by Ana María Orozco.
What begins as a celebration and a toast ends in a return to a stormy past that they all lived through and that they will try to seal in order to maintain the bonds that united them.
