The Colombian film Forgotten We'll Be (El Olvido que Seremos) has been subtitled in Korean and screened for the first time at the Megabox in Seoul, South Korea, at the Seoul International Book Fair.

After the screening, a discussion about the film adaptation of the novel by Héctor Abad Faciolince was held by Alejandro Bernal, manager of New Channels of Caracol Televisión, and the writer and screenwriter Óscar Pantoja.

The presentation was attended by approximately 100 people, including the Colombian delegation to the Seoul International Book Fair, Spanish-speaking diplomatic representatives, people from the film and TV sector and members of the general public.

What to know about Forgotten We'll Be

 Forgotten We'll Be, directed by Fernando Trueba, won five Platinum Awards in 2021 including Best Film and Best Director. It also won three 2021 Macondo Awards, from the Colombian Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, including Best Leading Actress.

The film was included in the official selection of the 2020 Cannes Film Festival and won the award for Best Film at the Cine Horizontes Festival in Marseille in January 2021. In March of the same year, the film won a Goya Award as the Best Ibero-American Film.
