Rels B is yet another proof of the exploding popularity of music in Spanish around the world. The rapper from Mallorca, Spain has become popular in rap and urban music, with beats and voice filters that are popular among today's youth.

After announcing his Flakk Tour 2022, a tour with 27 confirmed dates in the United States and Latin America between the months of March and June, he sold out venues in several cities in a matter of a few hours. In Buenos Aires he sold 28,000 tickets, 40,000 in Mexico City, and in 14,000 in Santiago, Chile.

In the U.S., he will perform in cities like New York, Los Angeles and Miami.

It's an unprecedented milestone for a rapper from Spain, called to be one of the big names in contemporary urban music.

Rels B began his musical career as a producer, and later joined Itchy & Buco Sounds, who were a key element in promoting his career as a rapper. He was as an independent artist until 2019, when he accepted a record deal at Sony Music.

To promote his tour throughout America, the rapper offered an attractive prize on Instagram. 

“I leave the link in the bio for whoever wants to get tickets, and the comment with the most likes, I’ll take with a guest to the date you choose, all included,” he promised.

Several biographies of the rapper point out that he is self-made. A producer who began rapping on the basis that he composed, with a style strongly influenced by soul, jazz and trap.

His first influence was his own father, who plays the drums and is a musical encyclopedia. Also, during his high school years he was a major of top rappers like 50 Cent and Eminem. Then came the reggaeton boom, which also influenced his music.

His lyrics deal with the personal experiences of a young man from the street, born on the island of Mallorca in 1993. He combines anger and rage with love and tenderness. Rels B is a proponent of carpe diem: do what you want, when you want. Live in the present because you never know what will happen tomorrow.

The lyrics move away from the topics that focus on crime, drugs or sex. He tries to go further and create his own register, taking advantage of the versatility offered by trap to combine styles. According to him, despite his obvious influence from urban culture, he intends to move away from any specific definition.
