Kali Uchis and Kenia Os: the hosts of the 2021 MTV MIAW
MTV MIAW announced its return after last year's pandemic, and will be hosted by Kali Uchis and Kenia Os.
The date for the MTV MIAW Awards has finally been confirmed, and the organization has confirmed Colombia's Kali Uchis and Mexico's Kenia Os as the hosts of the ceremony.
Although it has not yet been confirmed where the awards ceremony will take place, viewers can be sure to enjoy a live performance of the hit "Telepatía."
The details were released on Tuesday, June 1 via Twitter. The event will take place on July 13, and be broadcast on MTV.

After a few weeks of anticipation on Twitter, MTV announced that the urban artist would be the hosts and gave some clues about what could happen that night.
"Kenia Os is one of the most iconic and famous celebrities on the Internet and Kali Uchis is the viral phenomenon of 2021 thanks to her hit song 'Telepathy' which, obviously, she will sing live! Will she sing it with Kenia? Will there be a surprise between them?"

Kenia Os, 21-year-old singer and influencer, famous for sharing music videos on social media and who has just launched her music label "KRecords," announced her participation as soon as the news broke.
"Thank you we made it!" she wrote on Twitter.
Meanwhile, Kali Uchis, urban singer with Colombian roots who rose to fame with her song "Telepatía" and her latest album Sin Miedo (del Amor y Otros Demonios), shared information about the awards on her Instagram account.
This will be the eighth edition of the MTV MIAW, (Millennial Awards), the awards that replaced the VMA (Video Music Awards) since 2013, integrating content produced from social media into the awards.
MTV assured that it will soon announce the categories and nominees for this year's edition, so fans can cast their votes.
