Daniel Calderón and Los Gigantes del Vallenato will bring their Colombian rhythms to Miami
His landing in the US comes weeks after the premiere of their new hit “Déjame ir”, released by Codiscos
Good news for lovers of classic Latin rhythms residing in Miami. The popular Colombian band Daniel Calderón and Los Gigantes del Vallenato will visit the US coastal city on April 21, in a concert that promises to be a true Vallenato party.
Their landing in the US comes weeks after the premiere of the new hit “Déjame ir”, released by Codiscos. The single, which had notable international projection, is the first song of the new album that will be released next May. Several of the most outstanding composers of their genre contributed in the album, including Omar Geles, Tico Mercado, Wilfran Castillo, Iván Calderón, Alejandro Sarmiento and Roland Sarmiento Jr.
Probably, the performance in Miami will include new songs, as well of the classics expected by their fans, such as “Aventura” or “How Dare You”.
It will be a night that will combine music with gastronomy and cocktails. The event is organized by La Tiendita Taqueria, a Miami-based Mexican food franchise. The Colombian band's performance will start at 9pm.
“Dejame ir”, the latest hit by Daniel Calderón and the Gigantes del Vallenato, is produced and directed by Iván Calderón. The song, realistic and direct, is a farewell with beautiful words, which describes the end of a romantic relationship.

A farewell that, despite the difficulty of the moment, intends to wish for the good to come: “life is very beautiful, but living together as a couple is very difficult. This song is an escape valve, with a beautiful message and a current topic”, said the producer of the song.
The album was recorded in the city of Medellin in the same studios of the Codiscos label. A job that took a month and a half of rehearsals and recordings, but that both Iván and Daniel Calderón celebrate with satisfaction. As they say, their letters and sounds are full of surprises for their followers.
Daniel Calderón, who has eight albums in his discography, recorded the video clip of his latest hit “Déjame ir” in Llano Grande, also under the production of Codiscos Films. His commitment to romantic vallenato is still very present in his new song.
"Déjame ir" has a careful audiovisual production, which accompanies the depth of the song's message. Calderón's voice, as well as the guitars and the accordion, are the protagonists of a painful and sad story, to which the Colombian singer intends to put an end.
