Lighthouse Immersive, an experimental entertainment multiplex, aims to cultivate community and creativity through their one-of-a-kind art installations.

The experimental entertainment company is planning to bring their immersive Frida Kahlo exhibit to a number of North American cities starting Spring 2022.

Dubbed the “Immersive Frida Kahlo” installation, Lighthouse Immersive will follow the company's wildly successful Van Gogh installation, which continues to wow audiences across 15 cities.

The company’s Frida Kahlo exhibit will take on the art and life of Kahlo, the renowned and cherished 20th century Mexican artist.

Kahlo has become best known for her evocative self-portraits and other luminous pieces inspired by life in her native Mexico. The exhibit will capture these works, presented through a whole new frame.

Italian digital artist Massimiliano Siccardi, composer Luca Longobardi, and art director Vittorio Guidotti are credited as the visionary heroes behind Lighthouse Immersive’s Kahlo exhibit.

Tickets for all venues start at $39.99. The Immersive Frida Kahlo will not make its way to Philly, but will land in Pennsylvania when the exhibit arrives in Pittsburgh.

“In this piece, we will chase Frida’s world, always in motion,” said Siccardi. “We will discover her tenderness and hostilities by taking in her observations and fantasies. Our hope is that viewers will let themselves be penetrated by Frida’s stories, and in so doing, live vicariously through her.”
