Frat boy culturalized game Grand Theft Auto, to add first ever Latina protagonist
For the first time, GTA may have a female character option for their game players.
New details concerning what to expect in Grand Theft Auto (GTA) VI have been released, as further changes will be seen from the franchise.
"Many of you have been asking about a new Grand Theft Auto series entry. With every new project, our goal is always to move significantly beyond what we've previously delivered. We're pleased to confirm that active development for the next entry in the series is underway," Rock Star Games said on Twitter.
For the first time, GTA will shift from its frat boy culture and possibly add a Latina protagonist for game players to choose as their characters. In past games, women have either been victims or sex objects in these games.
Things that offend marginalized groups will also be used lightly compared to past games.
The possibility of two main characters taking a similar path to the story of Bonnie and Clyde was also heard.
The game will take place in a fictional Miami/Vice City and not in other countries of North and South America, an idea that had potential. Yet, new cities and missions will appear, allowing a lot more interior spaces.
"Vice City is the most incredible cultural education experience for all of us. We made it in a year. The music, film references, names and dialog was so focused," Rock Star Games Founder, Jamie King, said on YouTube.

Rockstar Games's Grand Theft Auto first released game was Nov. 28, 1997. Today, it is one of the most popular video games.
Previous games have been released on the Xbox, PlayStation and PC platforms.
"I will always be proud of the game because we were at the front of conversations between parents, children and governing bodies. At times we get so much criticism. We were told that we were ruining the fabric of society. But kids aren't the only ones playing these games. It can be content for grown-ups. Also, there is no rating system," King, said on YouTube.
"Sometimes, we just had a conversation and asked ourselves if we're really that bad. Yet, at the end of the day, people progress with the content and come away with a positive experience. I'm happy where we are at now. Everyone is a gamer."
Grand Theft Auto VI is expected to be released sometime between April 2023 and March 2024.
