Through social media, Mariana Varela, Miss Argentina, and Fabiola Valentin, Miss Puerto Rico, announced a relationship that they kept secret along with details about their wedding day. 

With a video showing several moments of their relationship, such as trips, outings and the proposal, the couple announced that they had married on Friday, Oct. 28.

"After deciding to keep our relationship private, we opened our doors to you on a special day. 28/10/22 ❤️💍✨," the models wrote in a shared post. 

Among the moments highlighted in the video are photographs of the wedding, where both are dressed in white and are hugging in front of a Puerto Rican government agency where they signed their marriage certificate, officially making them spouses.

After the great reveal, several models who competed with them congratulated them for their love.

"Congratulations, beautiful ones. God bless your union, and long live love!" wrote Valentina Figuera, winner of Miss Grand International 2019, in a comment.

"WOOOW!!! So many congratulations, I hope you have all the happiness you deserve. Long live love," wrote Mexico's Angela Yuriar. 

The relationship between the two beauty queens started right after they met at the Miss Grand International pageant, according to El Clarín.

In the 2020 pageant, 63 models from different countries participated alongside Fabiola and Mariana. That year, the top title was won by American Abena Appiah.
