“Our country is in serious trouble”.

With one month left until the soccer teams of the United States and El Tri face off for a place in the next Confederations Cup, a Mexican TV network, TV Azteca, is using Donald Trump’s anti-immigrant comments to promote it.

The ad uses snippets from when Trump announced his candidacy in June, in which he talks about Mexican immigration to the United States. The comments are juxtaposed with with shots of some of the best soccer players Mexico has sent to Major League Soccer and images of past U.S. soccer failures against Mexico.
