J Balvin is getting the 2022 Latin Impact for his contribution to UN Sustainable Development Goals and will receive the award at the UN headquarters in New York during the Latino Impact Summit. 

"J Balvin has been awarded for courageously using his voice and platform to highlight the importance of mental health in Latin America and around the world. congratulations!!!! 👏," announced the PVBLIC Foundation, organizer of the event.

The foundation also highlighted that Balvin, along with his OYE team, has achieved a balance between emotional health and physical health through exercises that help release stress, fear and sadness. 

J Balvin is co-creator of the mental health app, along with Mario Chamorro, Patrick Dowd and Isaac Lee. OYE offers its services in both English and Spanish for a monthly subscription. 

The app's executive director, Chamorro, will also take part in a talk on "Mental and emotional wellbeing for impact," reported EFE. Similarly, Paula Durán, another of OYE's directors, will lead an experimental activation at the event.

The conversation at the 2022 Latino Impact Summit will focus on the initiatives being developed by experts from all sectors working on sustainability, the forum announced on Twitter. 

The event will also conclude with the presentation of the Latino Impact Awards, where the Colombian will receive recognition.
