April 19th, 2023Colombian influencer Armado Ortiz, more popularly known as El Mindo is his country's ambassador at this year's World Baseball Classic, which will conclude on Tuesday, March 21.
"It is an honor to be an ambassador of this type of event, because one of my main purposes is to bring a little bit of Colombia wherever I go, besides being able to show the world our customs and our Latin essence through comedy," said El Mindo.
He is known for his authenticity, sense of humor and growth in recent years.

In reaction to his designation as ambassador, he uploaded a video with some players from the Colombian National Baseball Team, making humorous references to a number of baseball clichés. The video has more than 53,000 likes.
The World Baseball Classic is the main international tournament for baseball and includes the best players representing their countries. The United States is the reigning champion and has a chance to repeat on Tuesday, March 21, playing the winner of Mexico and Japan.
The exclusive list of MLB ambassadors for the World Baseball Classic is chaired by Puerto Rico's Daddy Yankee.
