Venezuelan doctors Klara Senior and Sofia Herrera, known for their campaigns on women's intimate health, joined the play directed by Manuel Mendoza, which narrates nine monologues based on more than 200 women interviewed over 22 years by playwright Eve Ensler.

"It is sad to see that, over the years, history has not changed. On the contrary, women and children continue to be victims of unscrupulous people, regardless of their sex," Senior said in a statement about her thoughts on the play.

Because of the importance of these issues for women, Senior said she was excited about the new opportunity to perform this play, which is loaded with messages that she herself has sought to convey to more women about equality, reconciliation and respect.

Both Senior and Herrera agree that female power must be recovered, without competing with each other.

"Equality from the heart, without hatred or resentment, since those states can only produce cancer, immune diseases, frustration, loneliness, anguish and uneasiness," said the doctors.

The doctors have replaced the many actresses that took part during the theater season — Analogías De Lola, Celinés Toribio, Clarissa Molina, Daniela Bascope, Danly Arango, Fabiola Colmenárez, Francisca, Judith González, Karen Martello, Sabrina Olmedo, Susana Pérez, Gaby Espino, Marisa Román and Lupita Ferrer.

Mendoza, the play's director, has not yet announced whether there will be a next season of the play in Miami in 2023, but he did reveal to Diario Las Américas that it will soon be touring several cities in the U.S.

For their part, the Venezuelan doctors, who already have more than 2.5 million followers on social media, will continue to bet on interactive content to teach more women how to take care of their intimacy.
