The number of Latin and Hispanic stars to feature on former U.S. President Barack Obama's annual favorite lists continues to grow in 2022. This year, the song "Titi me preguntó" by Bad Bunny ranked number two of the songs he played the most during the year.

In ninth place is Rosalia with the song "Saoko" from her album Motomami, which won the Latin Grammy for Album of the Year.

"I always enjoy sharing my New Year's Eve music playlist with all of you, and this year we heard a lot of great songs. Here are some of my favorites," Obama wrote.

Bad Bunny's song was not only one of Obama's favorites but also one of the most awarded songs of the year, earning the top spot on TIME Magazine's list and as Spotify's most listened-to song in 2022.

Obama's movies and books

In addition to his playlist, Obama also published what his favorite movies and books were during the year.

In the literature category, the first place went to the book The Light We Carry: Overcoming in Uncertain Times, written by his wife Michelle Obama. The book was at the top of USA Today's best-seller list at the end of November.

Finally, among his favorite films of the year are The Fabelmans, directed by Steven Spielberg; Decision to Leave, by South Korea's Chan-Wook Park; Top Gun: Maverick, directed by Joseph Kosinski and starring Tom Cruise; and El buen patrón, a Spanish film directed by Fernando León de Aranoa.
