May 2nd, 2023A committee of leaders from the community, including Ana Omana, Leity Rodriguez-Largo, and Arianne Bracho, among others, held the 4th Annual Latin American Book Festival in Philadelphia on Friday, September 23.
The event brought together readers, authors, writers, illustrators, designers, and the Philly community to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month on the grounds of Love Park, also known as John F. Kennedy Plaza.
Author Leopoldo Martinez, Nelson A. Díaz, Diana Rodríguez Wallach, and Theresa Varela were present during the fair. In addition, the Taller Puertorriqueño and LItina Book Club had their table with books and products for sale, among other organizations and collectives.
