With 170,000 subscribers on YouTube and another 140,000 followers on Instagram, Fernando Broca (@ferbroca) is one of the most popular spirituality and mindfulness coaches in Mexico. His videos, virtual workshops and guided meditations carry titles such as: "Learn to let go of family burdens," "Healing masculine energy" or "Our family and karmic bonds." They aim to share a spirituality applied to the everyday and help their followers become aware of themselves, their life and the world.

"Spirituality is the personal experience that leads us to encounter that transcendence," Broca writes on his YouTube page.

A self-proclaimed "Spiritual Master, Shaman, Speaker and Writer," Broca just published 8 Universal Laws: A Guide to Reach Wholeness, a self-help book that was among the top 10 best sellers on Amazon Mexico in February.

In the book, Broca offers "8 universal laws" that are guidelines to live in plenitude and applicable tools to harmoniously co-create the precious life that all beings deserve to share.

"This book has teachings from Hinduism, it has teachings from Buddhism, it has teachings from the Tao which I find an exciting doctrine for this side of the world and it has teachings, of course, from shamanism and it is a compendium," said the author in a presentation of the book, as quoted by Excelsior

In 2021, Broca made references to shamanism in his book Despertar: un nuevo tiempo (Awakening: A New Time) , an extended essay that tells readers about the lessons of awakened men, also called dream charmers.

"By designation superior to me, I had the privilege of sharing with one of them a fascinating physical and spiritual journey through the Mayan world. I crossed swamps and jungles that guarded sacred places. I melted into the crystalline waters of the cenotes," he wrote in the book's introduction. "I ascended to the most beautiful temples, swam in red rivers and danced in the interior of the earth; all to find myself, to recognize myself and prepare my body and spirit for this time to come."

The book is the story of a personal journey, of the experiences that transformed his vision and heart, "showing me personal power, the path of the warrior, the intent and the fascinating world of nahual. This is the journey in which my consciousness began to blossom, to awaken..."
