Eduardo Franco is one of  the new characters starring in season 4 of the television series “Stranger Things”. The Mexican-American actor plays the role of Argyle, Jonathan's best friend in California.

In the well-known fiction, Franco has a van and is in charge of delivering pizzas. His character is peculiar, funny, with a mane worthy of envy and is characterized by being, usually, high.

In an interview he recently gave to the Remezcla website, Franco was honored and proud because his character gives visibility to the Latino community in such a renowned series as Stranger Things. "We're here, man," he said about his performance in the fourth season, Volume 1, of the production that recently premiered on the Netflix streaming platform.

The 27-year-old Latino actor participated in several projects on the small and big screen. He has been cast in series like “The Skinny”, “You're the Worst”, “Gamer's Guide to Pretty Much Everything”, “Adam Ruins Everything”, “Good game”, “Idiotsitter”, and “American Vandal” . He also acted in the movies "Booksmart," "The Package" and "The Binge," and appeared in TV commercials for brands like Samsung.

Eduardo Franco was born in Arizona into a working-class family of Mexican origin. He started his career at 16 years old. He always remembers that his beginnings in the entertainment industry, in Los Angeles, have not been easy due to his limited financial resources. He assures, however, that the unconditional support of his parents has been fundamental in gaining his space as a Latino actor in Hollywood. “When all you have is, and I mean it, just love and support — meaning getting a ‘Hey mijo, I love you! Good luck out there!’ — it’s far more rewarding,” he noted in an interview a couple of years ago.

ABOUT STRANGER THINGS

“It’s been six months since the Battle of Starcourt, which brought terror and destruction to Hawkins. Struggling with the aftermath, our group of friends are separated for the first time – and navigating the complexities of high school hasn't made things any easier. In this most vulnerable time, a new and horrifying supernatural threat surfaces, presenting a gruesome mystery that, if solved, might finally put an end to the horrors of the Upside Down,”, says the synopsis of this series, which over three seasons, is one of most viewed on Netflix.

It premiered in 2016 and since then it has won 65 awards and 175 nominations at the Emmys, Golden Globes, Grammys, SAG, DGA, PGA, WGA, BAFTA, among others.
The third season was the 2nd most popular English-language series in the Netflix Top 10.
