Many guests will be in attendance at the 43rd United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (USHCC)’s National Conference in Phoenix, Ariz.

This year’s conferences will be held on Oct. 2 to Oct. 4, 2022, and is considered to be the largest event for Latinos, as they gather to celebrate annual achievements.

The pandemic in a positive way brought out much creativity and innovation from the Hispanic community in order to survive a difficult time for many.

New ideas and projects were born out of despair. Everything from Latina entrepreneurs creating online spaces for product lines and promotion, to traditional Hispanic business owners shaking things up.

“The resiliency of our Hispanic community shines bright in health, business, and family, and we look forward to sharing many successes when the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce convenes in Phoenix in October,” said Phoenix Mayor Kate Gallego.

In 2021, the USHCC returned to in-person conferences after the pandemic forced them to hold a virtual experience in 2020.

The conferences will showcase a jam-packed program featuring over 25 workshops, keynote speakers, interaction with government officials, informative panels, and leading market strategies from business experts.

According to the USHCC, the Latino community in the U.S. makes up an annual economic impact of $2.7 trillion, and represents nearly 60 million people of the American population.

Alice Rodriguez, chairwoman of the USHCC Board of Directors, says the national conferences hope to build confidence among the Hispanic community, with support they can rely on.

“The mission of the USHCC is to build an ecosystem to accelerate Hispanic business growth and prosperity and we do this through developing better access and innovation to capital, capacity-building, and connections for America’s 5 million Hispanic-owned businesses,” said Rodriguez.

Since 2020, Latinos represent 42% of Phoenix residents, and that number only continues to grow as years pass.

Open registration for the USHCC’s 2022 National Conference will be announced at a later time.
