This will be the ninth edition of the beer festival which is considered to be the largest of its kind. Since its inception, Philly Beer Week brings together hundreds of beer-related institutions and thousands of drinkers every year.
On the Philly Beer Week Facebook page, organizers mentioned its annual participants meeting, to be held Jan. 12th at 2 p.m. where beer industry folks will meet to talk about the upcoming event. Expect more information about opening tap locations and a new website to be released later.
As AL DÍA’s Ana Gamboa put it:
No other festival can brag of 10 consecutive days with thousands of events in and out of the city with the participation of over 40 local breweries, 235 participating institutions and the expectation of 150,000 drinkers over one week.
