April is Sexual Assault Awarness Month and  Drexel University launched a campaign to prevent and raise consciousness against sexual abuse of any kind on college campuses.

Drexel’s Office of Equality and Diversity chose the slogan ¨See something, hear something, know something, say something!¨ The aim is to encourage people to fight against and stop sexual assault, which in most cases remains secret.

“Our ability to prevent sexual violence in our community requires a collective effort by faculty, professional staff, administrators, and students,” said Michele Rovinsky-Mayer, associate vice president of Equality and Diversity. “It really is on all of us to create a culture where gender discrimination in any form is not tolerated.”
