[OP-ED]: ¿Qué pasa con Argentina?

La dura derrota sufrida en tierras brasileñas, 3-0, disparó las alarmas de gran parte de la prensa mundial, que comenzó a cuestionar hasta las posibilidades de Argentina para clasificarse a la Copa del Mundo de Rusia 2018. Sin embargo, Leo Messi se encargó el martes de poner las cosas en su sitio, liderando a su selección a una contundente victoria sobre Colombia por el mismo marcador, 3-0.  

No lo duden, ¡Argentina jugará el Mundial 2018 en Rusia!

The Goal For Unity

The quarterfinals of the 2016 Philadelphia Unity Cup took place on the LaSalle University campus in Northwest Philadelphia. One group of combatants on the pitch were that of a prized fight while the other group could have been a “David vs. Goliath” type of battle.

 The first match began with the United States versus Ukraine. Both teams made their way into the quarterfinals with victories over Spain and Italy respectively in the knockout rounds last week. Throughout the game, each team took turns in finding ways to penetrate through the defenses.

En la edición del 2016 de la Conferencia para Mujeres en Pensilvania, llevado a cabo en el Centro de Convenciones y producido por las estrategias Hill + Knowlton, cerca de nueve mil mujeres (y algunos hombres) de todas las edades y provenientes de todos los escenarios, se juntaron para promover conexiones laborales, alentar el crecimiento personal y aprender de personajes inspiradores de la ciudad, como es el caso de Anita Hill. Asimismo asistieron para reírse a carcajadas de las notas carismáticas de Abby Wambach y Mindy Kaling.

At the 2016 Pennsylvania Conference for Women, hosted at The Pennsylvania Convention Center and produced by Hill + Knowlton strategies, about nine thousand women- and a few men -of all ages and backgrounds came together to foster career connections, personally grow, and learn from inspiring movers and shakers of the city, such as Anita Hill. They also came to laugh (a lot) at the charismatic keynotes from Abby Wambach and Mindy Kaling.

Había una vez dos entrenadores geniales, engreídos, efectivos, grandes comunicadores… que marcaron la época del deporte, no solo en España, sino en todo el planeta. Uno de ellos, portugués, se forjó en Barcelona, en el equipo del que el otro era una de las estrellas. El jugador, tras retirarse, se hizo entrenador en las fuerzas inferiores del Barça, el equipo de sus amores.

Once upon a time there were two great, effective, outspoken and genius coaches. They were a landmark in sports history not only in Spain but in the whole planet. One of them, from Portugal, shaped his work in Barcelona at the team where the other was a star player. When his playing days were over, the Spaniard became a coach at his beloved FC Barcelona development squad.

[OP-ED]: Ronaldo Wins An Indivualist Golden Ball

 As every season, Cristiano Ronaldo and Leo Messi amazed the planet with their beautiful game. But maybe this year, both did not match expectations at the very last moment. It is true that Ronaldo ended up winning the Champions League for Real Madrid and the first ever Eurocup with Portugal, but he performed poorly in the Champions League final and had to leave early the continent’s championship contest injured.
