At a joint press conference with President Santos, Pence also took the occasion to condemn the violent incident on Saturday in Charlottesville, Virginia, describing it as a tragedy, in which three people were killed and more than 20 wounded during a march by white supremacists.

Math has already been used effectively in defining protected areas in places with productive activities in 150 countries over the past 15 years. The best example of that application is Australia's Great Barrier Reef, where a software called Marxan permitted the expansion of protected areas from 5 percent to 35 percent while preserving species and improving fishing.

La empresa mexicana Onko Solutions diseñó un dispositivo electrónico capaz de detectar de manera temprana el cáncer cervicouterino con el fin de reducir las alarmantes estadísticas de muerte por esa enfermedad en el país, declaró hoy Héctor Torres, gerente general de la firma.
