That’s what the political expert and Democrat lawyer, Michael Starr Hopkins, seems to have understood when introducing his candidacy for the June primaries against Robert Menendez for a seat in the Senate.
“How can we run against the corruption of Donald Trump if we’re excusing corruption within our own party?” Hopkins asked on Sunday, according to the NJ.com report.

The veteran and now Democratic candidate referred to the trial that the Hispanic Senator is facing on charges of corruption, which despite having been void a few months ago, will return to the courts by a decision of the Justice Department.
Hopkins worked on the presidential campaigns of Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton, and will now face Menendez who, despite the charges against him, has assured that he will seek re-election.
