On Thursday night, the Greater Philadelphia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce held its 26th annual meeting at Tierra Colombiana on North Fifth Street.
Chamber members were officially introduced to the organization’s new President and CEO, Jennifer Rodriguez. Councilwoman Maria Quinones-Sanchez spoke on the efforts of city council to expand business in the city.
Also during the meeting, Harold Epps, city commerce director and Rev. Leah Daughtry spoke to members about the importance of taking advantage of the chamber’s network. They also spoke about their respective efforts to bring opportunities to Latino businesses in the city.
