Job Description

Catholic Social Services (CSS) in partnership with the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) provides foster care, treatment and educational services to assist unaccompanied children caught in the humanitarian crisis that has been occurring on our southern border. 

Essential Functions:

  • Provide intake psychological assessments within 24-48 hours of clients being admitted into the program.
  • Provide trafficking assessments within 10 days of admission.
  • Provide a minimum of weekly individual counseling sessions.
  • Provide twice weekly group therapy sessions with all clients in the program.
  • Provide clinical director with regular updates on each client’s progress.
  • Attend required training.

Essential Qualifications:

  • MSW or MA in counseling.
  • Must be licensed or license eligible (license preferred).
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish).
  • Ability to be flexible, creative and work in a diverse setting.
  • Demonstrated written and verbal skills.
  • Ability to build rapport with clients.
  • Familiarity with trauma-informed treatment modalities.
  • Demonstrated cross-cultural sensitivity.
