The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor or Master’s degree from an accredited college with a major in chemical dependency, psychology, counseling (with a clinical specialty in human services) and previous substance use disorder treatment experience.
Counselor must be bi-lingual (English & Spanish) and have passion for clinical work, learning, and a strong work ethic, excellent time management and organizational skills; desire to work as a part of a team, and demonstrated interest in working with a diverse, underserved population. Must be skilled with writing individual treatment plans that specifically address a plan to achieve counseling in a chemical dependency issues. Knowledge of Latino culture and its impact on treatment and recovery a plus. Strong computer skills required.
Addiction Recovery Assistants
We are looking for Addiction Recovery Assistants to work in the Latino Residential Substance Abuse Disorder program to assist nursing & counseling staff in maintaining program schedules (ADLs, meetings, trips, etc).
The ideal candidate will possess a High school diploma or GED and a strong knowledge of the 12-Step Recovery Programs. Must be computer literate and bi-lingual (English & Spanish). 12 college credits in Behavioral Health/Human Services preferred.
The ideal candidate will possess current Commonwealth of Pennsylvania RN Licensure and one year of professional nursing practice experience, preferably in Psychiatry or Addictions. Must be bi-lingual (English & Spanish). Baccalaureate degree and experience with electronic health records preferred.
Will be responsible for providing quality nursing care within Latino Residential Programs. The Registered Nurse is responsible for the oversight of the nursing care on the unit and participates in daily nursing duties.
