The city of Philadelphia announced the first case of COVID-19 and advised residents to stay away from large gatherings. Out of an abundance of caution and in an effort to do our part in mitigating the spread of this highly contagious virus, AL DÍA has decided to postpone our inaugural AL DÍA 40 Under 40 event.
We will continue to monitor the development of this case and announce the new date within the next few weeks, we appreciate your understanding.
In the meantime, we will continue our marketing efforts to promote the event and would like to encourage you to re-share any communication posted on our social media platforms.
Thank you, AL DÍA News.
AL DÍA News Presents: 40 UNDER FORTY
The annual showcase of the most diverse and impactful young professionals across the Philadelphia region.
With Philadelphia’s demographic breakdown — more than 42% African American, more than 14% Latino and more than 7% Asian — the goal of the event is to showcase and reflect that diversity through the nominations.
The class of 2020 will represent the new generation of business and community leaders, media, influencers, innovators, and artists.
The 40 Under Forty will be chosen by independent judges who bring broad experience in entrepreneurship, leadership, and civic engagement.
Nominations have ended.
