They also came to laugh (a lot) at the charismatic keynotes from Abby Wambach and Mindy Kaling.

"Nothing is as it appears, and when everything she's ever known is revealed to be a lie, Anastasia has to believe in one impossibility..."

A plan to create a Business Improvement District in the Italian Market area, where Mexican businesses revitalized once-abandoned storefronts, has been shelved for now. Mexican business owners, who had little say in the original plan, now have another chance to get organized.
"Entre Más Me Ignoras, Más Cerca Estaré"...
"I NEVER knew anyone so keenly alive to a joke as the king was. He seemed to live only for joking. To tell a good story of the joke kind, and to tell it well, was the surest road to his favor. Thus it happened that his seven ministers were all noted for their accomplishments as jokers. They all took after the king, too, in being large, corpulent, oily men, as well as inimitable jokers. Whether people grow fat by joking, or whether there is something in fat itself which predisposes to a joke, I have never been quite able to determine; but certain it is that a lean joker is a rara avis in terris..."

As spectators filed in on September 16, the windows of the round gallery stayed open to let in a dying summer breeze, inviting the confusion of Jacqueline Unanue’s recently hung paintings with more windows. Though they may not be windows in a traditional sense, these selected works from two new series do serve a similar function: they let in the light and colors of a space external to us.
