Two Americas: Tweets in advance of Obama's immigration announcement illustrate stark divide
MÁS EN ESTA SECCIÓN
This will undoubtedly be the shortest column you ever see from me in AL DÍA. Or anywhere, really. And it is because words fail me.
Of all the Philadelphia politicians asked to comment in anticipation of Obama's announcement about executive action on immigration tonight, only two people returned our calls (as this goes up on the web site) to be quoted on Twitter: Council members María Quiñones-Sanchez and Jim F. Kenney. And as the old saying goes, no good deed goes unpunished.
I'm not saying more. Except to ask you to look at the photos in this post and then the responses directed at Quiñones-Sanchez's statements about keeping families together and protecting children. Simply ... unbelievable.
@ALDIANews @MariaQSanchez Word is out on broadcast networks they are expecting "all hell to break loose over illegal #immigration".
