August 8th, 2022The Diaz campaign went live Wednesday morning with their first television ad, titled "Voices."
"Voices" is a competitive, six-figure purchase paid for by Friends of Nelson Diaz. It is set to run on major broadcast networks through the Democratic primary on May 19, according to the Diaz campaign spokesman.
In 30 seconds, the ad tells Diaz's up-from-the-bottom story. A baritone narrator describes some of Diaz's major accomplishments and the odds he went up against, the "voices" telling him no.
The ad also takes jabs at two other mayoral candidates. Indeed, two of those "voices" that Diaz won't accept are his opponents former City Councilman Jim Kenney and State Sen. Anthony Williams.
