To provide access to nutritious fruits and vegetables, Philabundance established a Fresh For All initiative that serves more than 10,000 households annually in Northeast, South and West Philadelphia as well as parts of New Jersey. The program was just selected by Nestle as part of their “A Million Ways to Outshine” campaign to distribute 70,000 pounds of fruits and vegetables through Philabundance, and one million pounds total across the country.
Vegetables, potatoes and onions were purchased with the donation and delivered in Northeast Philadelphia.
