Forbes compiled a list of top 500 schools in the United States with the finest education. The selection process consisted of excellent education at affordable tuition, graduate high-earners, and become a driven force to be wrecked with in their respective field of study. 

Among the selected universities, the University of Pennsylvania stands out as one of the top 10 in the United States.

According to Forbes, they chose doctoral research universities, master’s universities and colleges and baccalaureate colleges, as well as colleges that offered specialized programs in engineering, business and art.

In order to obtain sufficient data, Forbes used two federal government databases; Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System and College Scorecard. Other databases used: PayScale, Third Was, and the National Center for Science and Engineering Statistics, as well as Forbes’s own lists.

1. Massachusetts Institute of Technology

2. Stanford University and 

2. University of California, Berkeley

4. Princeton University 

5. Columbia University 

6. University of California, Los Angeles

7. Williams College

8. Yale University 

9. Duke University 

10. University of Pennsylvania
