
Temple University is hosting a bilingual College Camp this weekend
The event covers key information on preparing for and applying to college.
On Saturday, Oct. 15th, Temple University (TU) will be hosting College Camp, a free bilingual event for 6th - 12th graders and guardians. In a partnership with the Hispanic Scholarship Fund, the event is designed to help students and families prepare, plan, and pay for college.
This is a free event that will take place between 8:00 a.m and 1:00p.m. Registering is extremely encouraged as once capacity is reached, registration will close. People of all ethnicities and backgrounds are encouraged to attend.

Presentations will be delivered by subject-matter experts on the following topics:
- Preparing for and successfully applying to 4-year colleges;
- Affording college: financial aid and scholarship opportunities;
- Understanding the real cost of a college education;
- Maximizing the college experience;
- Successfully transitioning to a career after college;
Antonio D. Romero, Associate Director of Diversity Initiatives and Community Relations at the Office of Undergraduate Admissions, said TU is honored to host College Camp, a program offered to only a few select places throughout the country and one that can equip students with tools to pursue their dreams.
