The song, "Pueblos," carries a powerful message of freedom and vindication for native peoples, and a union of two brave women with powerful voices. The song was produced by Amparo Sánchez. According to Curruchich, the music of "Pueblos" moves between son, son jarocho and chacarera, has a hypnotic loop of African guitar, and elements that symbolize the union of peoples of diverse origins. In this sense, both artists understand music as a means to articulate communication and consciousness for justice.
