Philadelphia’s sports teams may not be have having good performances this year but at least the players are looking good on the field. ESPN released the best dressed sports cities list and the City of Brotherly Love made it into the ranking. It was rated number four in the nation. Another city in Pennsylvania, Pittsburgh, ranked second.
Boston takes first on the list thanks to the uniforms worn by its local teams (Red Sox, Patriots, Bruins and Celtics). According to the article, Boston is “America's best-looking city, at least when measured by its athletic aesthetics.”
Pittsburgh (home of the Pirates, Steelers and Penguins) is the second on the ranking; followed by Chicago with the uniforms of the Cubs, the White Sox, the Bears, the Bulls, and the Blackhawks all getting the nod as third best.
The fourth spot on the list is for Philadelphia. The Phillies are best dressed team in town, the local baseball team scored 9.5 out of 10. The Eagles, the 76ers and the Flyers also did well on list, all of them are scored 8 out 10.
San Francisco Bay area ranked fifth, followed by New York Metropolitan Area (sixth), Toronto (seventh) and Detroit (ehight). Dallas and St. Louis also made it into the “top 10” of the best dressed sports cities list.
