Natti Natasha continues to make headlines, and this time for another major musical release. On Wednesday, June 24, the popular Dominican singer was in the spotlight for being considered one of the "Most Beautiful Moms" according to People en Español. A few weeks ago, the news was more solemn — the imprisonment of her husband and father of her daughters, producer Rafi Pina, accused in Puerto Rico for illegal possession of weapons.

Natasha released the single “Mayor que usted,” where she joined forces with the kings of reggaeton: Daddy Yankee and Wisin & Yandel. Despite all recently announcing their retirements after decades of prolific music careers, they are using the single to promote farewell albums, tours, collaborations and even documentaries.

The single has a classic reggaeton base, with nods to dembow, and the lyrics call for a crazy passionate adventure to the rhythm. It is a tribute to the beginnings of the urban movement, performed by the greatest figures of a genre that's become a worldwide phenomenon.

The song was produced by Raphy Pina, Wisin, DJ Luian and Mambo Kingz, who composed a rhythmic bomb that mixes modern sounds with more classic beats. All this is accompanied by a careful lyric video, with illustrations of the singers as they perform the verses.

The singer presents herself as a rebellious, imposing and independent woman, and proves once again that she is one of the most versatile singers in today's urban scene.

“I am fulfilling a dream and I am super excited to release this song together with the greatest exponents of this genre during its last stage. There definitely could not be a farewell without having one last song with the greatest leader in music, Daddy Yankee, and the duo of history Wisin y Yandel, who have undoubtedly left a legacy in Latin music globally,” Natasha said.

In the singer's opinion, “this song is a work of art, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. In this last stage of their careers, now they are the oldest and I am the youngest, in charge of continuing to take my music to the world.”

Recently, Natasha also released “Wow BB,” a powerful collaboration with Dominican figures El Alfa and Chimbala, which already has more than 50 million listens on streaming platforms.

The singer was also nominated in five categories at the next Premios Juventud, which will be broadcast live on Univision on July 21.
