June 27th, 20221. Lisandro Aristimuño - Pozo
We have already recommended this Argentine singer-songwriter before, but the more the merrier. "Pozo" is one of the songs that are part of his album "Mundo Amfibio" of 2012 and is an unforgettable sample of Argentine folk.
2. Illya Kuryaki and the Valderramas - Ritmo Mezcal
This duo of rock, hip-hop, funk and Argentine soul are part of the indispensable repertoire of Latin American music. After having achieved fame during the 90s with its unique and retro proposal, the band split in 2001, to return 10 years later. Ritmo Mezcal is a sample of his last production L.H.O.N of 2016.
3. Gepe - Hablar de ti
Daniel Alejandro Riveros Sepúlveda, better known as Gepe, is one of the most important exponents of Chilean music today. His solo career - after being part of the duo Taller Dejao - has garnered great success and a lot of fans. His latest production, "Ciencia Exacta", is the best example of independent Latin romanticism, and "Hablar de ti" is just an opening.
4. Silvina Moreno - Cuídame
RELATED CONTENT
Moreno is one of those fantastic discoveries that Spotify launches on a Sunday afternoon. Her fantastic proposal mixes poetry and good folk, with a brief trajectory of three albums. "Sofa" is her last release and "Take care" is our selection for this week.
5. La Máquina Camaleón - Shiva
In the Latin American repertoire there are few electronic psychedelic bands that come to the public in the popular market, but La Máquina Camaleón - originally from Ecuador - is one of those promises that will be worth watching take off. "Shiva" is part of their last production "Amarilla" of 2017.
