They are between five and 19 years old. Together they are all part of which we could call the next generation of Pennsylvania Ballet. Now, the 160 students of The School of Pennsylvania Ballet, opened in 2012, will show what they have learned in an “inaugural” performance to close out the school year. Nine of those performing are Latinos.

This Saturday June 6, the students will perform "A Glorious Beginning” in The Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts (3680 Walnut Street, Philadelphia, PA) at 7 p.m. This performance is a tribute to the founder of the school, Barbara Weisberger.

All the students will dance in the performance, which will include short pieces like George Balanchine’s “Serenade” and Durante Verzola's “A Light Exist in Spring”.
