Renowned Dominican writer and television presenter Yaneli Sosa presented on April 1 in Miami the book "Hispanas Influyentes", with testimonies of women from Mexico, Colombia, Cuba, Puerto Rico, Venezuela, Bolivia and the Dominican Republic.

The writer, who lives in New York, has compiled the stories of success and overcoming of 25 Latin women, among them Birmania Ríos, Neyvi Tolentino and Nadia Santos, to serve as references for the Hispanic community in the United States thanks to their fighting spirit and determination.

The work was recognized on Capitol Hill in Washington DC by Congressman Adriano Espaillat and became an Amazon bestseller in less than 24 hours.

"Every woman has a story to tell. That is why I thank each of the co-authors who were part, along with me, of this beautiful project, which will be published every year with stories of 25 Hispanic women from different countries," said the writer during her presentation in Miami.

This publication contains the experiences of Latin American women who "aim to empower current and future generations to continue fighting and working for their dreams," said Yaneli Sosa, founder and creator of "Hispanas Influyentes."

Among the protagonists are prominent Dominican journalist Birmania Rios, who for more than 25 years worked for the Univision network.

Dominican Neyvi Tolentino, a lawyer in Spain who has revolutionized the legal profession by creating a robot that answers immigration questions.

Also, an Iraq war veteran and former member of the U.S. Army, Nadia Santos, among other renowned businesswomen and entrepreneurs from all over Latin America.
