Donald Trump’s controversial statements are the story that keeps on giving.

Ad Age reported that Nissan Motor Co. “is distancing itself from a controversial ad created by one of its Southern California dealerships.”

The dealership, Van Nuys Nissan, came up with a commercial that shows store managers beating away at a Mexican piñata with an uncanny resemblance to Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, a.k.a el “Trumpudo.”

Jeannie Whited, senior manager of Nissan Brand Communications, told The Blaze that, “the company operates as an independent business with more than 1,200 dealerships around the country.”

“As a company, Nissan respects the right of both individuals and private businesses to practice free speech in a responsible and respectful manner. In this case, we find these advertisements to be neither responsible or respectful, and we do not condone what they represent,” Whited said in a statement sent to The Blaze.
